With this in mind, The Mortgage Gallery is a proud supporter of selected charity groups who undertake outstanding community work. Our team members directly contribute to a range of charities. A major focus of the Company and its' representatives is in providing active support for a very worthy charity... HeartKids.
HeartKids are a non profit organisation. The group offers support, understanding and information to children who suffer from congenital heart defect, and their families. 1 in 100 children are born with a congentital heart defect making this the most common birth abnormality with twice as many deaths from this cause than all childhood cancers combined. Up to 20% of defects are gene linked abnormalities but for the remaining 80% the cause is largely unknown. More than half of these conditions are serious enough to require treatment through medication or surgery - some cannot be repaired. The Mortgage Gallery and our members proudly support HeartKids.

2011 HeartKids Cycle Challenge
Sunday April 10, 2011 saw the start of the inaugural Heartkids Cycle Challenge where a team of riders left Albany and cycled 690kms up the coast to arrive in Fremantle on Saturday 16th April.
The cycle ride from Albany to Fremantle is a culmination of wanting to do something to help HeartKids and to challenge our physical and mental boundaries at the same time. From an idea which Tony Pemberton, of our Fremantle Office finally shared with John Bignell now involves 20 or so fantastic people with a like minded attitude.
The HeartKids Cycle Team of 2011 would like to acknowledge all the sponsors that have so generously contributed to what is a very successful event:
